GDO consists of two components: The first component is ninety descriptive cases of the behavior of a virtual person. An individual is asked to determine the degree of correspondence between his behavior and the virtual person's behavior with a scale from 1 to 5. For more illustration, here is an example:
The virtual individual's behavior : Me
Enjoys doing tasks in a group and the tasks done in group are better than those done individually. When your behavior is correspondent with the virtual person's behavior, put 5 under "Me". If your behavior is opposite to the individual's behavior, put 1 under "Me", then put 4, 3, 2 to show relative distance of the intended behavior. The second component is nineteen detailed cases between two behaviors. You are required to choose one of them as your preferred one. Behavior 1: read a story or a book or browse a magazine.
Behavior 2 : contact friends through telephone or internet.
The preferred behavior: choose 1 or 2
